I thought anime in general was horrible not just the English versions which should make it better anyway.
When they bring a show over to America, they usually dub it with shitty voices and edit the shit out of it.

I just finished watching it a few days ago and I thought it was pretty good. Not really sure why people dislike english dubs so much just don't watch the japaneese dub first and then you won't have the chance for that voice to grow on you first.

Why do you say that? Have you already seen the dub? And if you have, how would you recommend that someone watch Lucky Star if they don't understand a lick of Japanese? A subtitled version you recommend as an alternative?
